Brette Sims

Founder & Creative Director

Brette is our Founder, Creative Director & the illustrator of the #COLORFORACAUSE Coloring Book. She lives in CA & is an innovative entrepreneur & artist! She graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a BA in Fine Arts & a minor in African American studies. Post grad she studied at East Bay Meditation Center & Agape University; of Transformational Studies. Art, as a form of Self Love helped her to heal from anxiety & depression. Once she became conscious of what a powerful antidote art & Self Love were to anxiety and depression, she made it her mission to teach this truth globally to girls as young as possible.

Tazeen Shaikh

Blog + Podcast Manager

Tazeen is our Blog Director who lives in Mumbai, India. She is the host of our STUK on Self Love Podcast! She is a writer and author of the book The Fire You Don't See. She is studying for her BA in dentistry. She began as our intern and we brought her on as an official team member. She’s a poet, and a mental health advocate. Our blog would not be as fabulous as it now is without all of her hard work. She inspires us all to be more vulnerable, open, and gracious. Tazeen curates our HerStory interview series and selects powerful women founders to share their Self Love, mental health and career stories.

Madelyn Steurer

Partnerships Manager

Madelyn is our Partnerships Director from Indiana. She graduated with a Masters in French from University of Notre Dame and is now working on her PDH at Northwestern. She’s a Self Love advocate, at history researcher, a fitness guru, and the founder of our #NoFiltHER school tour program and Podcast! Our partneships could not run as smoothly and impact-fully without her. Did we mention she’s also just fashionably fabulous and models?! She inspires us all to be more passionate, fiery, and bold.

Madina Adutwumwaa

Also known as: 𝓣𝓮𝓪𝓬𝓱𝓮𝓻 𝓔𝔀𝓾𝓻𝓪𝓪𝓶𝓪! Madina is a teacher and tutor. She has taught at numerous schools in Ghana. She initiated our partnership with Diamond State Academy. We met her in 2018 when we went to Ghana to pioneer our Little Heartists Program. Madina is an education, self love and girls rights advocate. She is passionate driven and makes our FLY Girl program so powerful! She is a prolific humanitarian.

Saraphina Oteng Gyasi

Saraphina is an entrepreneur and a self love advocate. She is pure love and light. Saraphina is such a powerful community leader and her and Madina are actually besties. Saraphina has a compassionate eye for girls in need. She and Madina alert us monthly to girls that need their basic needs met in order to thrive and create through our F.L.Y Girl Initiative program. Her optimism and faith keep us endlessly uplifted.
