● Your Name: Sophie Rose Brampton

● Your Zodiac Sign: Aquarius

● Where are you from? I am from a tiny village in North Devon. But now living in London.

● What’s your focus, purpose, passion, and contribution to the world?

I try to create art that will bring colour and happiness to people’s lives. I try to use social media to create more energy and give girls some imagery on their feeds that they will feel accepted, empowered and uplifted by. My focus is to create things I am proud of and hopefully to inspire others.

● How do you do it and who do you do it with?

I do it by gathering my thoughts and feelings and creating something positive and bright that will give people a good vibe. I do it through engaging with others online and supporting the amazing women around me - in real life and in the online world.

● What are your special talents?

I have always been good at drawing people, specifically faces. I love eyes and I draw them all the time. Your eyes are the windows to your soul.

● What are you working on at the moment?

At the moment I am working on commissions and different projects that are directed by others. I work a part time job while creating my art freelance as art can be an unreliable job. I want to keep my style and my message clear so I choose to only work with brands and companies or people that I admire and feel fit with who I am in my work.

● What does your art mean to you?

My art means supporting women, girls, anyone who menstruates and anyone who has gone through hard times with identifying as a woman. My work is about celebrating femininity and finding joy in the little things, through colour, expression, laughter, bodies and beauty. It’s hopefully art that will uplift you in some way.

● What does love mean to you?

Love for me is not just a romantic feeling, you can show love through the way you support and care for anyone. Love is including everyone and helping them to feel whole. Love is happiness, friendship and being willing to fight for what you believe is right.

● How does your zodiac sign impact the way you love?

In a romantic love it has helped me to become more selfish and see what is best for me to grow and learn. Being an Aquarius also means I express creativity through most things I do and luckily I can use that in the way I show love to others, in my work or personal life. I always love making people hand made gifts or drawing my friends.

● What does God mean to you?

God to me means living how you feel is right, through supporting others and spreading love. Following your path to become the best person you possibly can and looking after your family and those that trust in you.

● When did you learn self-love? How has practicing self-love changed your life?

I have learnt to become more content and have accepted myself and my flaws. This has happened over many years as I was never very confident and I would often do things for the male gaze, or for other attention. I know now to do things to better myself, and not care so much what people think. I think practicing self love is the most important thing for your mental health, but it does come with time.

● What is your philosophy of life?

Enjoy yourself and enjoy the journey, remember that you can be inspiring, you deserve to be happy and to live your best life.

● What advice would you give someone who is attempting to make a dream into a career?

Go for it but be wise in your decisions, if you need to have a back up plan then do, life is not a movie but you will get the dream you are longing for, it just doesn’t happen overnight. If you work hard enough and never stop trying it will come to you!

● Nobody knows I am... Scared of balloons! I hate loud popping noises.

● I wish I could stop... Staying up so late! And deciding to work late.

● Self love means... Listening to your mind, taking time out when you need to and relax. Don’t pressure yourself and take things in your own stride.

● I find true beauty in... Women! The female bond, friendship, laughter, feminine energy.

● I want to teach my child or children that... We are al equally worthy of love and support, and no one should feel left out. You can be anything you want to be!
